We provide processing services for farmers and landowners who have harvested nuts, seeds, or other oil crops and want them processed into finished oils or ingredients. Growers can deliver their crop to the facility, where it is cleaned, processed, and pressed into oil through small-batch production runs. This model allows producers to retain ownership of their product while accessing specialized equipment and processing infrastructure.

Third Place Processing also works with food and beauty brands interested in developing products made from plant-based oils. In these cases, we can help manage the process from sourcing raw agricultural products through pressing and production. This model is designed for companies that want to create distinctive oil-based products but do not have access to agricultural supply chains or processing infrastructure themselves.

In addition to processing for others, Third Place Processing produces a line of oils under the Bloom Farm label. These products are made from regionally sourced nuts and seeds and are designed for specialty grocers, distributors, and culinary partners interested in unique pantry staples.

Third Place Processing is also an active buyer of nuts and oil crops from growers, landowners, and foragers. These crops support both our own production and partner projects within the facility. We are particularly interested in working with producers harvesting crops such as hickory nuts, hazelnuts, black walnuts, chestnuts, sunflower seeds, and other specialty oil crops.
